Eyes-Eyes-Eyes














By now you should all know how I feel about eyes.......

This artist, Marion Bolognesi has made me rethink the possibilities.

  1. The artist has such striking compositions of the faces, and so much is suggested even when there's only a tiny bit of the face showing.

  4. Those are soooo cool! I love how the dripping of the color leads your eye in so many different directions.. and the color is so vibrant and nice but not messy in any way. i really like them -amelia

  7. These are so cool! I think that eyes can sometimes be overused, but I think that there are ways that eyes can be used in art so that they are successful and more interesting than just a plain eyeball. I think that this artist found a way to do that. This paintings are very interesting and it seems that each piece as a different mood and feeling. They're so awesome!!

  8. YAY!!!! i knew youd be ok with eyes one day! personally believe that eyes are the windows to the soul...aka why all those pictures in africa of kids are so touching. their eyes say "im cute, i have little chance of a GOOOD future, Help me!"
    oh, and this art work is wonderful i like how it fades into white

  10. I've never particularly been a fan of watercolor because i've had bad experiences with it personally, but this looks really cool (but difficult) none the less.

  12. Well hello there! These are intense, in the best ways of course. ESPECIALLY the guy in the top right corner. I love how its so simplistic and minimal yet at the same time i can picture what the rest of his face looks like just because of the little the artist gave.
